Forest Interactive Launches #YouMatter Campaign: Pioneering Zero Tolerance for Workplace Harassment and Discrimination

KUALA LUMPUR: Forest Interactive, a leader in the telecommunications industry, proudly announces the launch of its ambitious campaign #YouMatter, the strategic third installment under the #ItEndsNow banner, and sets a formidable precedent in redefining workplace culture, underscoring the significance of awareness and unwavering commitment to eradicating harassment and discrimination. 

Comprised of three pivotal phases, the #YouMatter campaign is poised to make a resounding impact: 

Phase 1: Learn & Share 

In this inaugural phase, the aim is to instill awareness and foster engagement across the organization through the distribution of company-wide emails and the creation of an interactive Padlet platform visible at the corporate headquarters and within the virtual workspace. The objective is to ensure that our esteemed talents are well-informed about the campaign and to encourage cross-company learning, with the targeted outcome of achieving 50% or greater engagement and knowledge sharing via the Padlet platform. Talents should be able to understand and accept multiple viewpoints and be open to varied discourses at the workplace.  

Phase 2: Reiteration of Zero Tolerance Policy 

The second phase of the campaign underscores the significance of education and the reinforcement of our company’s unequivocal stance on a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and discrimination. Talents actively participate in comprehensive, in-person knowledge-sharing sessions, gaining a holistic understanding of harassment and its resolution processes. Furthermore, they gain heightened awareness of the company’s meticulously defined policies and streamlined complaint procedures. 

Phase 3: Launch of the Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Committee 

In the culminating phase, we formally introduce the Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Committee (AHDC) through a company-wide email and establish a supportive platform for pledges. As an integral component of the campaign, we roll out a comprehensive #IPledge initiative throughout the company, with a target of 50% commitment, recognizing talents and their unwavering commitment to fostering open dialogue and actively addressing uncomfortable conversations within the workplace. The #IPledge campaign also extends to professional networks.
