Promoting women in the workplace was also something the CEO fought for, not only for the workplace but in the technology field itself.
Our most significant campaign yet would be the #ItEndsNow campaign, based on UN Women Ending Harassment at the Workplace Framework. The initiative aims to signal the importance of ending harassment in the workplace, highlighting that there is a zero-tolerance stance in the workplace and in social environments among the talents in the company.
“One of our core Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is SDG 5 – Gender Equality helping us with our progress and efforts to champion women empowerment in the workplace, such as forming an anti-harassment policy. This is a part of the culture we embody. Though we might not have as many resources as other companies, we are still constantly working on setting an example to empower women.” elaborated Johary.
Johary’s advocacy for women empowerment goes beyond various equality and diversity-focused efforts in Forest Interactive. Such as initiating and supporting programs that make the workplace environment fair and equitable, and promoting materials that highlight inclusivity in the company, and for other business leaders to Follow.
