JAKARTA: Value-Added Service (VAS) program “Emperor: Gamer, Lover, Creator” from the collaboration between Telkomsel and Forest Interactive has come to an end. The program was held on Instagram from January 7 to May 7, 2022.
The Emperor: Gamer, Lover, Creator program is a subscription SMS service where participants will receive an SMS containing a URL link to access an interview video of Jonathan Liandi, where he shares his career as a gaming content creator and challenge seeker. On top of that, Jonathan gave giveaways to participants who participated in his challenge, where participants were encouraged to upload their personal stories in a video format through their Instagram accounts. Various attractive prizes were offered, such as iPhone 13 Pro 128GB, Asus ROG Phone 5 8/128GB, Rexus Gaming Chair RGC103 RGB edition, and NYK W-50 Beast Wireless Gaming Headset.
“We hope that this program can inspire participants to tell their life stories. Just like Jonathan Liandi, everyone has their own inspiring life story to share,” explains Vita Paulina, Marketing and Operational Manager for Forest Interactive.
The winner chosen by Jonathan Liandi is Kiki Pambudi, who lives on the slopes of Gunung Putri Mountain, Malang Regency. Kiki shares his daily routine in an inspiring video titled Si Bambang, which has been his nickname since childhood.
Bambang won the prize by sharing the story of how Bambang goes to school every day while selling crackers around his residence. On his way to school, Bambang sells crackers to the houses he passes. Bambang also sells his crackers to his schoolmates. After school, Bambang usually walks through the forest to look for grass to feed his family’s goats. Despite his hectic schedule, Bambang does all the work to help improve his family’s economy.
Bambang, who has to work to help his family’s economy while still attending school, provides an example of not giving up easily despite facing the challenges in life. The inspiring story of Bambang was handpicked to be the winner of the Emperor: Gamer, Lover, Creator program.
