Forest Interactive’s Siti Mahdaria Shares Social Media Strategies in Digital Age with Future Graduates at Binus Career Bootcamp

JAKARTA: Forest Interactive’s talent Siti Mahdaria, or more friendly known as Ria, shares her expertise on strategizing content for social media in the digital age with future graduates at the Binus Career Bootcamp. 

Ria, who is also the External Communications Executive at Forest Interactive Indonesia, coaches one class per week in a span of seven weeks from April till June, 2022.  

In one of the sessions, Ria highlighted the importance of social media in today’s digital age and that strategizing content is one of the crucial parts of mastering them.  

“Social media specialist is currently one of the many in-demand jobs in Indonesia due to the surging digital transformation initiatives across the country and the region. As a professional working in the technology industry, I believe that this program will develop tech-forward graduates by providing them with no only the insights on careers in the digital space, but also equipping them with the necessary practical skills to build their future careers,” explained Ria. 

Ria shared her experiences and knowledge in managing a social media account including topics on social media presence, SMM fundamental, analytical tools, social media campaign planning, social media ads, and social media monitoring.  

When planning for content, Ria also accentuated that she would dedicate a significant amount of time for editorial planning such as conceptualizing, scheduling, and content brief preparation to help her strategize and maximize the output. 

As a key player in the technology industry, Forest Interactive supported the university’s Career Bootcamp to nurture future innovators. The program is attended by a total of 280 participating students which are divided into four classes: Data Analytics, UI/UX Designer, Social Media Specialist, and Digital Marketing.  

Held virtually via Zoom, the program provides educational enrichment for the students through sharing sessions from industry coaches, focus group discussions, and case studies presentations. At the end of the program, students will partake in a career fair where they can apply for an internship or employment according to the classes they have attended during the bootcamp. 

Ria expressed her hope that the shared knowledge will benefit the bootcamp participants in preparing themselves for their future career in tech.
