In 2025, the market is expected to reach more than 210 million in population which makes it one of the largest markets in Latin America. There will be more than 196 million mobile subscribers in which the penetration rate for smartphones lies at 88%.
There are four major mobile operators in Brazil, though so the largest operator will remain Vivo -Telefonica Brazil with more than 60 million subscribers.
The majority of networks will use 4G and although there was a slow down for 5G adoption due to the pandemic in 2020, by 2025 5G will account for more than 17% of the total connections.
