Forest Interactive is officially a FINAS PF (Film Production) license holder, allowing the company’s in-house Creative Production team to conduct formal filming and production of video content.
FINAS, or the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia, is the central government agency and authority entrusted in spearheading the development of the Malaysian film industry.
Following the restrictions reimposed under the Movement Control Order (MCO) in several states early last year, all forms of formal filming and production required organizers to have the relevant licenses from FINAS, which were otherwise not allowed.
This initiative was taken to ensure the in-house Creative Production team is authorized and enabled to continue filming and producing video content throughout this period. As a license holder, Forest Interactive is able to position itself alongside industry players and local production houses in terms of being empowered by internally produced video content.
