KUALA LUMPUR: Forest Interactive makes an entrance at Telecoms World Asia, the digital transformation event for telecommunication companies in Asia, as a silver sponsor this year on November 16 and 17.

This event marks the first public introduction for Forest Interactive’s newest products, the Digital Voucher Platform (DVP) and Enterprise Messaging Platform (EMP). The company’s Head of Product, Yoseph Wijaya, was also a key panelist in a session titled, “Turning the increasing demand for content into a growing digital business model”.

“Our position as a solutions provider is to not force the customers with what we want but rather listen to what they need. We solve problems; that is our main agenda here at Forest Interactive. As such, it’s imperative that we keep our ears close to the ground and listen to the cracks in the pavement,” expressed Yoseph during the panel discussion.

The panel discussion touched on topics surrounding the current tech landscape companies have to navigate in this digital transformative era. With an increased in digital literacy comes with an increased need for new contents to supplement the increasing proficiency of the users themselves.

Also present in the panel discussion were:

“Tech companies need to be constantly aware of the current times and incoming trends. It’s not just about creating and giving content to the users. The content itself needs to have a significant meaning to them (the users). It’s not about us, it’s about them. We’re only the problem-solvers.” added Yoseph.

DVP is a comprehensive one-stop portal for digital vouchers on digital goods, made available to mobile operators to generate more ARPU and increase consumer loyalty with fully customizable branding. Not only does the platform help mobile operators capitalize on the demand for digital vouchers, it also enables them to generate revenue gains without needing to spend extra resources to build and maintain a platform.

EMP enables “program-to-program” messaging between applications and systems, enabling network operators to implement a centralized policy, encrypted and authenticated transmitted messages, efficient routing process, and the ability to efficiently manage subscription systems. In other words, it is a platform dedicated to the process of A2P which gives mobile operators full control over the flow of automated messages to their subscribers. For instance, sending out messages that target specifically to subscribers to remind them of their overdue bill; or send messages of promotional material from the company itself.

Telecoms World Asia is organized by Terrapinn, an organization that hosts regional conferences for telecommunications companies all around the world. Its agenda is to discuss and introduce new industry developments, provide a platform for industry players to introduce new tech or products, and allow exposure for new enterprises.
