Forest Interactive and Telkomsel’s ngeHIP Bareng Dr. Reisa Calls It A Day

Housewife Sri Murnila Devi celebrates her second birth with a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and a healthy baby.

JAKARTA – The announcement of the grand prize winners marks the end of ngeHIP Bareng Dr. Reisa, Forest Interactive’s Value-Added Service (VAS) program for Telkomsel’s subscribers in Indonesia.

Sri Murnila Devi, a housewife from Lampung, announced as one of the two grand prize winners for the program, bringing home a Samsung Galaxy Note 20. Devi, who was in her third trimester when she subscribed to the program, said the exercises during pregnancy shared by Dr. Reisa was inspiring and led her to join the Instagram challenge #NgeHIPBarengdrReisa by sharing a picture of herself trying Prenatal Yoga.

“As a housewife, I’m grateful to be chosen as one of the grand prize winners. This smartphone will be a useful tool for me to start an online business, which I intended to do to improve my family’s income,” shared Devi, who was also exercising with her husband and her first child throughout this program.

“Devi’s story portrays the harmony we could have in a family and an example of support given to a pregnant woman,” commented Dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro as one of the juries for the challenge. The rest of the jury panel also agreed that Devi’s story can be a role model for Indonesians.

The 3-month program, which was supported by Telkomsel, featured Dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro, a medical practitioner and a TV personality. Through this program, Dr. Reisa shared a series of tips in adopting a healthy lifestyle like understanding sleeping routine and eating habit. One of the highlights of the content via this program was Dr. Reisa’s tips on exercising during pregnancy.

She emphasized that a pregnant woman can exercise after the first trimester. “If you are an active person who has been exercising regularly, you should have no problem continuing to exercise as early as the first trimester during your pregnancy,” noted Dr. Reisa, who is also the finalist for Putri Indonesia 2010 and spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force.

“However, it is crucial to understand that if you rarely exercise and would like to do so when you are pregnant, please start your routine in either the second or third trimesters of the pregnancy. It is also essential to choose a light exercise that matches your condition,” added Dr. Reisa.

Exercises recommended by Dr. Reisa to ease the process of giving birth include prenatal yoga, pregnancy gymnastics, and pilates.

“We are more than happy to be able to see people benefiting from the program, especially during these trying times,” said Megan Faustine, Assistant Manager of Marketing & Business Development at Forest Interactive Indonesia. “We hope to support more Indonesians through the @program_asik.”
