Manila, October 24, 2019—The beautiful island nation played host to this year’s Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS). In its 6th year, ESGS boasts of being the largest gathering of e-sports exhibitors and enthusiasts in the country. With that said, Forest Interactive sees this as the perfect opportunity to showcase Wallet Codes to game-loving Filipinos.

Wallet Codes is a revolutionary e-sports currency provider that allows gamers to purchase gaming currency from Mobile Legends Diamonds, STEAM vouchers, Play Station Network vouchers and Xbox live. Players simply log onto the Wallet Codes site, make their purchase, and pay through a variety of methods including via cellphone credits. This revolutionary method of payment circumvents banks and allows gamers without credit cards to still purchase the e-sports currency of their choice.

Popular e-sports streamer and social media influencer Ashley Gosengfiao or Ashlili to her fans also made an appearance at the Wallet Codes booth. This year’s ESGS is special because the SEA Games are being held in the country later this year. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was recently announced as an event for this year’s SEA Games. As such, Team Sibol, the country’s Mobile Legends national team, is the special guest for this summit.  Also touted for this year’s summit is an NBA 2K20 Pro-Am Tournament and the debut of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege.

Present at this year’s Wallet Codes booth were Chantal-Denise Ortega, head of Forest Interactive Gaming Habitat Team (FIGHT) and Christine Hanaflor, Marketing Public Relations Specialist.

“We at Forest Interactive recognize the rising gaming market in the Philippines as well as the large number of gaming youth.” Chantal-Denise Ortega, Project Manager of Forest Interactive Gaming Habitat Team (FIGHT) said. “This is why we at FIGHT made efforts to showcase Wallet Codes to Filipinos so that are armed with the knowledge that Mobile Legends Diamonds can be purchased without the need of a credit card. In this manner, gamers of any age and economic background can purchase e-sports currency, whenever, and wherever.”

FIGHT is Forest Interactive’s official events body for organizing gaming tournaments around Asia. With the help of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer Moonton, pocket tournaments have already been held in countries like Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. FIGHT hopes to produce a tournament in the Philippines early next year.
