Three Cheers for Forest Interactive’s Triple Award & Recognitions at UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei Sustainability Performance Awards 2022

KUALA LUMPUR: The UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei awarded Forest Interactive as the winner of one award and two recognitions at the UNGCMYB Sustainability Performance Awards 2022. 

The ceremony, held at EQ Kuala Lumpur, was attended by Founder & CEO of Forest Interactive, Johary Mustapha, Head of People Operations, Armina Mispar, and Group Communications Manager, Nen Lin Soo. 

The awards ceremony recognized the efforts made by UNGCMYB members in incorporating sustainability into their business goals, with the winners of each category chosen based on their efforts and initiatives to implement the 10 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Ambition Benchmarks. 

Business sustainability is possible with continuous extended and powerful advancements in all environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects. The awards ceremony also aimed to inspire UNGCMYB member companies to take action in their respective SDG journey. 

Forest Interactive winning the category for SDG Ambition Benchmark 1: Gender Balance at All Levels of Management affirms the company’s range of actions and efforts to address key barriers to women’s participation in the workforce at all management levels, as well as in building an inclusive workplace where all employees are respected, despite their gender, nationality, religion, and cultural background.  

Besides that, Forest Interactive was also recognized for the following: 

  • Sustainability Awareness and Employee Engagement Recognition: This category recognizes and showcases organizations that has implemented innovative employee engagement programs or initiatives to promote and drive the sustainability culture and awareness internally within the organization.
  • Partnership for the Goals Recognition: In relation to UN SDG 17, this category recognizes and showcases organizations that have strived to implement sustainable change and impact via strong partnerships.
