Kuala Lumpur— Forest Interactive was honored to welcome esteemed guests from the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister’s Office to the corporate headquarters in Malaysia’s capital at Forest Interactive HQ, Kuala Lumpur.
The visit—which took place on the 22nd of September—was organized by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), under the government agency’s Global Acceleration and Innovation Network (GAIN) program. The GAIN program is an initiative started by MDEC to catalyze the growth of Malaysian and Malaysia-born tech businesses that have the potential to be industry leaders around the world. This visit allows the ICU to further understand the many companies chosen by MDEC to be fostered under this program, and help to create a better understanding of what local companies in Malaysia need to reach global heights and ultimately elevate the industry.
The ICU is the implementation arm of His Excellency, Tun Mahatir’s office that is in charge of promoting and raising awareness in terms of innovation with the country. They are also in charge of the desensitization and execution of best business practices within other agencies.

We hope that more private entities engage with government agencies and vice versa.
